About Learning@Scale

Learning@Scale investigates technology-mediated environments with many learners and limited expert support. These range from large university courses and online learning platforms to mobile applications, intelligent tutoring systems, learning games, and informal communities.

The community brings together learning scientists, computer and data scientists, educators, designers, and practitioners. Its shared purpose is to increase human potential through evidence, human interaction, and thoughtful uses of technology.

Study how knowledge develops and how learners participate, collaborate, and progress.

Design and evaluate technologies, interventions, and support that can reach more learners.

Address equity, accessibility, fairness, and the needs of underrepresented communities.
